What a venue needs to know.
What is HostMyBingo?
HostMyBingo is browser-based 90-ball bingo software for pubs and venues. It connects the host controls, venue TV and five cards on each player's phone. Venue sign-in and product access are provided by Host HQ.
Do players need to install an app?
No. HostMyBingo runs in the browser. Players scan the QR code or open the player website, enter the room code and their name, then play on their phone.
How do five cards work on a mobile phone?
Players see one full-size card at a time, with five large numbered tabs for moving between cards. If another card needs attention, the player can jump straight to it without five tiny cards filling the screen.
Can we play for one line and then continue to full house?
Yes. Choose Line, then house when creating the game. After the line is host verified, the winner is announced and the host can continue the same game for full house.
How are winning claims checked?
HostMyBingo checks the selected card against the numbers called. A valid claim is then shown to the host with the player's name, so the host can confirm and read out the winner.
Can the venue set a price per card and prizes?
Yes. The host can enter the card price, choose the line-to-house percentage, and add an optional full-house jackpot with a call target. Those details are displayed to players and on the TV.
Does HostMyBingo take player payments?
No. There is no player checkout, wallet, or online stake in the Bingo website. The venue handles any entry charges and prizes directly and remains responsible for how it runs the event.
What equipment does a venue need?
A laptop or tablet is best for the host controls, and a TV or projector gives the room the full shared experience. Players use their own phones. Each device needs a reliable internet connection.
What happens if a player refreshes or briefly loses signal?
They should reopen the same player link on the same phone. HostMyBingo is designed to reconnect them to the live room and their cards where possible.
